Heinde & Verre means “near and far”. The name pays homage to the Dutch culinary tradition of sourcing the best ingredients worldwide and combining these with quality local produce. We use slow food techniques such as stone grinding, single origin multi-profile roasting and aging of the chocolate mass to develop the full potential of the grand cru cacao as well as to express its rich natural flavour.

We only work with traceable organic cacao, sourced directly from the farmers themselves. This ensures the farmers get a fair price and enables them to take care of both their workers and the environment. On every bar you can trace the source and farmers of the cacao.



Our factory is powered and heated by 100% Dutch green traceable wind energy, making our production proces free of carbon emissions.


Our goal is to use the best quality flavorful ingredients with the lowest impact on the environment. To us this means selecting ingredients which are organically grown, non genetically modified and grown locally as much as possible. Our Ingredients
