Elegance comes with age. This chocolate is aged up to two years. A layered flavour profile is achieved by blending chocolate of different aging stages.
Profound yet mild chocolate with aroma’s of flowers, distinctive flavour impressions of dried grapes, rustic tones of sandalwood and the typical deep Indonesian chocolate flavour.

Located in the Tabanan region of Bali a small farmer collective of around 10 farmers cultivate the beans for the Noble Bali chocolate. Bali is an interesting island within the Indonesian archipelago when it comes to rain. On average the island is a bit drier compared to other islands which make it suitable to dry cacao beans in the sun.

Heinde & Verre means “near and far”. The locally sourced Dutch beet sugar allows the Balinese cacao to be fully appreciated.

A variety of in-house developed techniques is used to craft the unique Heinde & Verre chocolate. The cacao beans of one single farmer are handselected and roasted in multiple ways to bring out as many flavours as possible.

Each Heinde & Verre box contains 2 bars, one bar for now, one for later. At Heinde & Verre we take chocolate and your enjoyment very serious. Quality chocolate needs to be protected so we have developed the perfect packaging to preserve all the natural flavours. An aluminium pouch protects against light, humidity, dust and dirt. A double air tight seal protects against odours. We have extracted part of the air to reduce oxidisation and moisture.
